Dress Code
Accountability Procedure

Those students who do not follow dress code as described in our CCAEHS handbook will be asked to see Mrs. Walsh or Mr. Woodruff in their offices immediately.

If student is sent down, he/she will be asked to accomplish the following tasks before granted a pass back to class:
correct uniform according to uniform policy (if possible)
contact parent/guardian to deliver appropriate uniform articles (if needed)
produce 1 hand-written copy of entire uniform policy/procedures (to be completed in Mrs. Walsh’s or Woodruff’s office before returning to class).

When student arrives back to class:
he/she will have hand-written copy of uniform policy in hand. This is the student’s pass back to class. Although student maintains a pass, this particular pass means that it is an unexcused tardy. The pass merely signals teacher to re-check uniform before student is able to participate in class. If student persists with non-compliance, teacher will send student back to the office to repeat steps A-C again (listed above).

If student arrives to school not wearing, nor owns a school-purchased uniform due to misplacement of shirt, etc.
Mrs. Walsh or Mr. Woodruff will call parent/guardian to discuss uniform adherence problem.
At this time, student will need to purchase a new school uniform shirt from Mrs. Walsh or Mr. Woodruff for $15.00. Checks should be written out to “Silver Line Ink”.
If student does not have $15.00 for shirt, they will be given a “loaner” shirt for that day. In exchange, the student must provide something of value to be traded back at the end of the day. We do not recommend this; the loaner shirts are worn by many students and are only washed once per week. This is merely a way for us to quickly solve the problem without bothering parents at work.

If student chooses NOT to comply with uniform adherence procedures, this student will be sent home.
Student will be sent home from school until school uniform is worn.
If student is not picked up that day, the student will be asked to stay home the following day.
